Part of your experience with me is that I get to know your family. It is extremely important for me to gain the trust of your little ones at your session. Your booking form includes a small questionnaire that helps me get to know your family a little better. Once your booking form is filled out and the session fee is paid, your session is on my schedule.

BOOKING

PRE-CONSULTATION & STUDIO WARDROBE

A pre-consultation can be done over the phone or at the studio to discuss any questions you may have about your upcoming session. I understand that wardrobe planning for any session can be stressful in itself; therefore I have a curated collection of baby, children, and mommy wardrobe that is available for use at the studio for all the sessions I offer. I have had clients come in and I style all of them (I even do have a few neutral tees for Dads!). This takes the natural anxiety out of planning your families’ wardrobe for your shoot. My clothing style is very classic, light and airy, with beautiful textures in white, cream and grey as well as light pastels such as pink, light blue and coral. All sessions include a complimentary wardrobe consultation to discuss any and all ideas. 

YOUR DREAM SESSION

My mission is to create a fun environment where the personality of each individual is shown through the photograph and you can just be you. We will discuss what kind of location is best and the overall style you are looking for. Sessions can be done im your home, in the studio or outdoors in the beautiful golden light about an hour before sunset at one of my favorite field locations. To ensure a relaxed, no pressure session, I invest as much time as necessary in order to capture all the images needed for you to fall in love with your final gallery. Depending on the session type, your session may vary from 30 min to 2+ hours.

THE STUDIO 

The Emi Joy Photography Studio is conveniently located in Boca Raton. A warm and calm place to make you truly comfortable and relaxed during your session. You can sit and rest whilst your precious new baby is being cuddled and soothed while capturing those moments so they can be treasured for a lifetime.
The Emi Joy Photography Studio is a wonderful choice for maternity, newborn, and young baby who are not yet on the move sessions. It is also a great option for capturing your memories during the colder months. For the warmer months, I love to head outdoors and take advantage of the beautiful light and backgrounds that nature has to offer.

OPTIONAL IN-SESSION VIEWING & ORDERING SESSION

Usually within 2 - 3 weeks of your full session, Your online gallery is complete and ready to view. You will receive an email with a link and password to download your files. Your gallery will contain a print release allowing you to print your photos wherever you like. The Ordering Appointment (optional) offers me an opportunity to help you select the prints, albums, or wall art that is perfect for your family and your home. We’ll work together to find the perfect collection, products or prints for your home and your budget. Artwork samples are available to see, matted fine art prints to touch, and albums to flip through to help you decide exactly which photo displays are right for you. My goal is not to sell you on products you don’t want or need; my goal is to offer you an individualized, full-service portrait experience and to help you choose the best ways to display your new artwork.

HEIRLOOM ARTWORK 

My product line consists of a carefully curated selection of archival frames, albums and image boxes. These can become part of your family heirlooms and will last generations.
